is the owner and curator of
Khamai Reptile Park. Donald has been
involved in many expeditions to locate and catalogue new and endangered
species of reptiles in countries such as Zimbabwe, Namibia, Mauritius,
Zaire, Zambia and Mexico.
He has made appearances on programs for the BBC, National Geographic and
the Discovery Channel, and has been involved in the creation of three
popular books on snakes.

The
Blydepoort Nature Reserve and Dam is in the heart of the canyon. It has
an interesting visitor's information centre with various walking trails,
including the "waterfall trail" which ends up at a rock pool and
waterfall.
The
Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre focuses on the conservation of
rare, vulnerable or endangered animals. Cheetah Conservation is one of
their core disciplines.

Orpen
and Phalaborwa gates are just an hour away. Night game drives are
offered in the park.
Good
for raptors, carnivores and other animals close up. Tours at 09h00 and
