Your hosts at Trackers

Dave and Julienne Rushworth will be your hosts during your stay at Trackers. They are an invaluable source of information and will share their knowledge about the local history, fauna and flora and much more. Dave and Julienne established Trackers in 1984 and over the last 23 years have touched the lives of many people. They have three grown children who live in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Australia respectively and are the proud grandparents of 9 grandchildren.

Dave Rushworth:

Dave Rushworth Dave Rushworth is one of the pioneers of conservation education in Southern Africa and spent many years with the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation in Zimbabwe.
Dave is well respected as a game ranger, tracking instructor, ornithologist, ecologist, zoologist, teacher, and environmental educator. He is often called upon by many consultancy groups. He served in an advisory capacity during the curriculum development for Field Guides Association of Southern Africa (FGASA), and is involved in various other conservation organisations.
He currently writes articles for three local news papers and periodic natural history publications

Julienne Rushworth Julienne Rushworth is your cook extraordinaire. Her delicious home cooking makes a wonderful addition to you your stay at Trackers. You will also appreciate the comfortable accommodation. Julienne’s passion is for her garden and she has landscaped the superb gardens which you will see surrounding the home stead.
